WHERE THE BUFFALO ROAM

A 6 mile walk with views of Lincoln Cathedral on the horizon on a clear day organised by Peter and Talbert. 13 members attended with Alan Lee joining us for an excellent lunch which included the best pudding (bread & butter pudding) of 2006 so far.

Directions

Grimston is to the east off the A46 (Six Hills).

Take the A6006 from the A46 and follow the signposts.

Parking is in the street by the pub (but not outside the pub's neighbour who told Talbert to stick his Jag.... elsewhere)

Walk

6 miles, 2½ hours walking time. As well as the sighting of Lincoln Cathedral we saw Buffalo (Bison?) and deer grazing.
