EMGASpers title

A web site for friends from the former East Midlands Region of British Gas
who meet regularly to walk in various parts of the east midlands.

Hungarton, Leicestershire. 8 March 2007

16 members took part in this scenic walk on our usual warm, sunny day. Ground conditions were wet and muddy in many places, especially around the styles. We were surprised to see Honorary member Bob Holland also lunching at the Black Boy with Ronnie Corbett.

Start Point
The Black Boy Inn, Main Street, Hungarton, Leicester LE7 9JR Tel: 0116 259 5410

Time

10:00 - Walk to start at 10:30. Note we have not been able to arrange coffee but toilet facilities will be available and we will order lunch before setting out.

The longest 5 miles any of us will ever walk, but with good views of the Leicestershire countryside and Quenby Hall amongst several other country piles..
