Swithland is to the west of Leicester midway between the A6 and A50.

For those from the north of Leicester the village can be best approached by coming off the M1 at junction 22, turn towards Leicester then follow the signs to Bradgate Park and Swithland.

Walk
The walk is 6 miles long with easy walking along well maintained footpaths.
