Market Bosworth, Leicestershire Thursday 19 August 2010

Gentlemen,
red lion market bosworthSorry this is so late, but I had a bit of trouble getting a pub to open for coffee. However all is well as the Red Lion is willing to accommodate us.
I know we have been to Bosworth a couple of times before but on those occasions we visited the battle field, which we are not doing this time.

The details are as follows:

Start Point: Red Lion Hotel 1 Park Street Market Bosworth CV13 0LL 01455 291713

Directions: From the north you can take the M1, the A42 towards Ashby, the A511 towards Whitwick and then the A4447  and turn right to Market Bosworth. As you come into the town you enter a one way system for a short distance and turn right into the centre. At the crossroads with the Dixie School facing you, you take another right. The road bends to the right again and the red Lion is on the opposite corner, the car park is a little further up this road on your left.

The walk is just about 5 miles and will not be too taxing.

Cheers

Talbert
