team photoDIRECTIONS:
Osmaston village is off the main A52 Derby to Ashbourne road.  When approaching on the A52 from Derby take the left turn signed Osmaston and Wyaston, some ½ mile from the outskirts of Ashbourne.  The Shoulder of Mutton is about ½ mile from the A52 turning on the left hand side of the village street just past the church.  There is plenty of parking to the rear of the pub.
WALK:
route mapJust less than 5 miles starting at Osmaston, going to the village of Shirley and returning via Osmaston Park.  It consists mostly of paths and bridleways with one short but steepish climb and one potential ‘Somme like’ muddy section.  There is a good variety of lovely scenery with parkland, woodland and lakes.
