Nick will get the lunch menu from the Bell Inn and we’ll call in our order before commencing our walk at 10:30.

The walk is a gentle 4.4 mile walk through the Leicester countryside with just a few stiles.

Burton Overy is to the east of Leicester near the village of Great Glen. For those of you without Sat-Nav it’s probably best approached by leaving the M1 at J21 following the ring road to Leicester Race Course then turn right (A6) to Oadby then onto Great Glen (come off the bypass and go into the village, watch out for the speed camera (30mph),  then follow signs for Burton Overy. The Car Park is at the rear of the pub.
To Nick's house: pass the pub on the left hand side, bear left up Main Street, turn left just pass the church signposted to the village hall and the house is at the bottom.
