Our next walk will start from the Old Plough at about 10:30 after coffee served from 10. There is ample parking.

Meet at 10am for coffee as usual.

Braunston-in-Rutland is located approximately 2 miles west of Oakham.  If heading from the direction of Melton Mowbray follow the A606 and turn right in Oakham just before the level crossing then follow the signs to Braunston. The Old Plough will be on your left as you enter the village.

If heading from Leicester pick up the B6047 off the A47 taking you to Tilton on the Hill. Turn right onto Main Street then left onto Oakham Road which you should follow to Braunston. The Old Plough will be on your right as you drive through Braunston.

The walk is around 4 miles long and has a number of easy stiles.

Meals can be chosen whilst we are having coffee.  Main courses start at £8.95.  Favourites such as "gammon steak" and "large beer battered haddock" are available.
