Talbert and Peter arranged this repeat of our first walk of the year. The weather was improved and the muddy quagmires had disappeared so it was a more enjoyable day.

The walk is 4½ miles through the Leicestershire countryside. The walk is mainly across fields with great views of the surrounding area

Ashby Folville is to the north-east of Leicester just off the Leicester to Melton Mowbray Road. For those of you without Sat-Nav it’s probably best approached by leaving the Leicester to Melton Mowbray road and following the signposts to Gaddesby, then Ashby Folville.
