Time – From 10:00 with walk commencing at 10:30

The walk is a 4½ miles through the Leicestershire countryside. The walk is mainly across fields with great views of the surrounding area.   When Talbert and I walked it yesterday (9th) it was a little muddy especially around stiles and gates.

Ashby Folville is to the north-east of Leicester just off the Leicester to Melton Mowbray Road. For those of you without Sat-Nav it’s probably best approached by leaving the Leicester to Melton Mowbray road and following the signposts to Gaddesby, then Ashby Folville.
