Gentlemen, it’s time once again for us to put on those walking boots and head off on a r…amble
this time around the Baslow edges and surrounding moorland.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ROBIN HOOD INN, BASLOW: The Robin Hood Inn is on the right hand side of the A619 Chesterfield to Baslow Road, coming from Chesterfield, and is located at the junction with the B6050 about 1 mile before Baslow village.

WALK(S): There is a choice of two walks from the Robin Hood dependant on weather and ground
conditions. Both are just over four miles taking in the surrounding moorland and gritstone edges.
We have done part of one walk in 2007 the other is completely new. Neither walk is arduous but
please be aware there are some ‘up and down stretches’ as per the Peak District. There are
splendid views from both.
