This walk was a very pleasant flat walk with a little on road/lane walking and almost 5 miles.

The easiest way for those of you in the north is to come down the M1 to Junction 21.
Come down the ramp to the roundabout and turn right onto the M69. After about 8 miles you come to junction 2 signposted to Hinckley. You come off here and turn left off the ramp towards Sapcote and Stoney Stanton. After about 1 mile you take the first left towards Stoney Stanton.
Go right to the T junction and mini roundabout at the end and turn left onto Station road.
The village of Elmesthorpe is about a mile down the road and the Wentworth Arms is on your left.
