The walk commences in Sutton Bonington, crosses some lovely flat countryside over to Zouch, where we join the river Soar for a while before returning to the pub, it is just 4 miles. Hopefully we will get some better weather between now and then, as it was a bit muddy.

I am sure your sat navs will direct you but I found coming from the south that coming off the M1 at junction 23 was the easiest although there is not a lot of difference if you come off at junction 24, I just found the traffic to be heavier.
