BASLOW & CHATSWORTH PARK, DERBYSHIRE
Thursday 17th October 2019

Gentlemen, here we go again with a ramble around one of our favourite locations to appreciate the Autumn colours amid the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness.

START POINT: The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Nether End, Baslow, Derbyshire DE45 1SR Tel: 01246 582240

DIRECTIONS TO THE WHEATSHEAF HOTEL:  The Hotel is on the right hand side of the A619 from Chesterfield just as you enter Baslow.  There is plenty of parking (we’ve been asked to use the top car park). The postcode for Sat Nav is given above.

WALK:  The walk is just over 4 miles. Starting from the Wheatsheaf we will follow the River Derwent to Chatsworth House (Loo stop at the House!!)  and return via the woodland and a visit to the Hunting Tower.
